Metal Drill Bit
- Twist drill bit from high speed steel (HSS).
- Ground flute, split-point according to DIN 1412-C.
- Type N, straight shank, right hand cut, point angle 135°.
- Up to 400 % longer service life compare to conventional HSS drill bits.
- More wear-resistant, increased thermal stability and longer tool life.
- General-purpose use, but due to the strengthened core also suited for use on CNC-machines, on most common materials such as steel and (un)alloyed steel, stainless steel, cast-iron and non-ferrous metals with tensile strength up to 1.000 N/mm².
- Material groups : 1.1 – 1.4 / 2.1 – 2.2 / 3.1 / 4.1 – 4.11 / 5.3 – 5.4
- Surface Titanium nitrided.
